Growing up in Orleans, Dr Bender was a regular patient of Dr Kwasnick’s. It only seemed natural that after graduating from l’Université de Montréal in 2010, she should return to practice there. Since then, she has been proud to offer her services to the community and loves being able to see all members of the same family, and watch them grow throughout the years.
Dr. Linda Kwasnick opened the family centred Orleans optometric clinic in 1983. She receives much satisfaction watching the families and community grow and develop, providing care in their different stages of vision needs. She feels that it has been a great privilege to serve four generations of several local families, and she values the trust that they have placed in her.
Sandy has worked at this location since 2006 where she has enjoyed welcoming patients to the office. She also does visual field testing, contact lens instruction, and helps patients pick out frames that are best suited to their looks and needs. Outside of the office, this transplanted Vancouverite enjoys walking, knitting and reading.
Having worked in the customer service industry for over 10 years, Corinne will be very happy to answer any questions you may have. She will also be helping you through the different steps of your exam from booking the appointment, to performing your visual fields test.
Alison is very happy to be a part of the Eye Care For You team. She is eager to help out anyway she can in French or English. Considering a career in optometry, she hopes to learn as much as she can from other staff, doctors and patients. Alison is a musician, hockey player and avid reader. She also loves travelling and discovering new things, as well as spending time with her dog and two cats.
Shobie is excited to be joining Eye Care For You and learning more about optometry and helping out patients! Shobie is currently pursuing her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Ottawa. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling, as well as going skiing and snowboarding.
